Each bar counts how many days (or weeks) with closed trades ended in that band of return: left of the 0% line, in loss (red); right of it, in profit (green). Days without trades are left out. Hover a bar for the detail.

Pips: FX with 3 or 5 digits, 1 pip = 10 points; gold, 0.1; indices and the rest, 1 point. Win and loss pips are split by their own sign: they measure price movement for or against, before costs. Money statistics (winners, losers, streaks) follow the net result with swap and commission. Comparing the pip PF with the money PF shows how much costs take. MAE: the furthest a trade went against; MFE: the furthest it went in favour; MFE capture: how much of that favourable move it kept at the close.

Streaks follow the close order. Maximum drawdown (valley) is the largest fall of the cumulative result from its previous peak.

Account Monte Carlo cone

The account is at the 22.4 percentile: 22.4% of the simulations ended worse.

Real 5–95% band Median Outside the band

Band: where 90% of the backtest simulations ended over the same weeks as the real trading. Dashed line: the median. Unit R: each trade is its price move in % divided by the average loss of its EA's backtest. This adds up different instruments and eras, and every EA weighs the same.

Method: 5,000 simulations resampling 4-week blocks of their backtests' shared history (3.5 years), with the trades of all the EAs in those same weeks (keeps the correlation between EAs and the streaks) and at each EA's real pace. Calibration: over that history, normal 13-week windows end below the band 3.3% of the time (5% expected).

EAs included (3): 1001, 1002, 1003.

Requirements: a backtest of 100 trades or more, with prices and 3 years of history shared with the rest. Without an EA filter, EAs marked as “Stopped” do not count.
